SEAMK-Finna got a fresh new look at the end of September. Its features and color scheme remain unchanged, but the updated design is clearer and easier to use.
The search tabs now appear above the search box on the results page (see the image below), making them easier to find. You can use the tabs to limit your search to the library collections, international e-materials or Finnish articles.
Rounded elements give the service a fresher look. Improved contrast and visibility also make its features clearer and easier to use.
The update is part of the National Library of Finland’s ongoing development of the Finna platform and visual design. The aim is to make the search service clearer, easier to use and more accessible on all devices.
