Order Library Card in Advance

Welcome to Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences Library!

To borrow books from the library you need the SeAMK Library’s library card. The library card is personal and it must be always along when one borrows. You cannot use library’s self check-out machines without the library card and a PIN code.

The card is free of charge and you can order it in advance by filling in the application form. Wait for our confirmation email and come to visit the library to present your ID card.

You can also use the mobile library card available in your smart phone.

If you are a member of the student union SAMO and have a plastic student card, it is possible to save it as a library card as well. Mobile student card (Slice) is not working as a library card.

SeAMK-Finna is library’s own search service. There you will find information on both printed materials (books, journals, theses) and electronic resources (e-books, e-journals, e-theses, full text articles, databases) available at Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences. Login with your SeAMK user account and you will have access to all e-resources. When you login for the first time, add your library card or student card to your account. On SeAMK-Finna you can renew your loans and make requests on both books on loan and on shelf.
