New SeAMK-Finna to be published soon – Save your favourites and searches

New version of SeAMK Library’s web service SeAMK-Finna will be released on August 17th, 2021. The visual look, functionalities, texts, search and instructions will be revised. The service will be more accessible, as well.

If you have added favourites or saved searches on SeAMK-Finna, they will unfortunately disappear during the version change. Luckily you can save them before the release. Please save your favourites and saved searches on Monday August 16th at the latest. You can download the file to your computer and import it back to the new SeAMK-Finna.

How to save your favourites and saved searches?

1. Log in to SeAMK-Finna.
2. Select Profile.
3. Move to Import and export my data at the end of the page.
4. Select Download favourites and save…
5. Save the file into your computer. The file is in .json format.
6. Keep the file in your computer until the new version will be released. Import your favourites and saved searches to the new SeAMK-Finna.

Alternatively, you can send the list of your favourite books to your email. Log in to SeAMK-Finna, click on Favourites, select all or some books and send them to your email.

How to import your favourites and saved searches to the new SeAMK-Finna?

1. Log in to SeAMK-Finna.
2. Select Profile.
3. Move to Import and export my data at the end of the page.
4. Select Import favourites and searches…
5. Select the downloaded file from your computer and click on Import favourites and searches.
6. The favourites and searches will be imported to the new SeAMK-Finna.
