New library website launched on 1.12.2025

SEAMK Library’s website (kirjasto.seamk.fi/en) has been updated to a new version on Monday, December 1, 2025. The appearance of the pages and navigation menus have undergone a transformation as the library’s pages have adopted the menus and colors familiar from SEAMK’s pages.

Due to the changes, there can be interruptions and disturbances in the functionality of the website , e.g. in the functionality of the links. 

The navigation menu changes position and shape

The navigation area at the top of the previous site has been moved to the hamburger menu at the top right of the new site. The menu on the left side of the menu page contains quick links to the most frequently used services.

SEAMK brand colours introduced

The website’s blue colour has been replaced by a SEAMK brand colour of lilac. It can be seen on the site, for example, in various buttons and other visual elements, as well as in the colour of the links. Alongside lilac, gray, pink, and yellow are used as additional colours. 

Some new visual elements has been added to the website, e.g. various content banners. Accessibility deficiencies have also being corrected to make the site easier to use for all users. 

Page names, headings, and URL addresses edited 

With the new content structure, there will be changes to page names, headings, and addresses. If you have bookmarked library pages or added them to Moodle, you may want to check that the links work correctly.
