Access change in the Statista statistics platform

Statista is transitioning away from IP-based authentication on March 31, 2026. After that users log in to the platform with their SEAMK email and password. When you’re logged in, your name will appear in the top menu.

The service also includes an integrated Research AI chat, which allows users to chat and ask the AI questions in natural language—without needing extensive database knowledge—in both English and Finnish.

Research AI finds answers from Statista’s own reliable content, provides links to sources, and suggests follow-up questions that allow users to explore the topic further. It also curates other content related to the topic. Although you can ask Research AI questions in many different languages, it is recommended to use English due to its larger training database.
