Exceptions in opening hours and services during holiday season
The upcoming holiday season brings changes to library’s opening hours.
The library is
- closed on Dec 21, 2024 – Jan 6, 2025. Exam visits are also closed.
Kampustalo is
- closed on Dec 21, 2024 – Jan 1, 2025
- open at 7:30am–4:00pm on Jan 2–5, 2025
- closed on Jan 6, 2025
Loan periods, requests, returns
The loan periods for all loans will be longer because the library is closed. The due date will be Jan 9, 2025.
- 28-day loans will have a longer loan period from Nov 25
- 14-day course books will have a longer loan period from Dec 9
- 7-day sports equipments will have a longer loan period from Dec 16
Requests made by Friday Dec 20 at 5:00pm on SeAMK-Finna can be picked up and checked out by using the self check-out machine by the library door when Kampustalo is open.
During the time the doors to Kampustalo are open, books can also be checked in at the automatic self-check-in shelf. When the Kampustalo doors are closed, books can be dropped into the book drop box next to the C0 door. The C0 door is located opposite to the Tower House student apartments.
Requests made on and after Dec 20 (at 5:00 pm at the latest), as well as books dropped in the book drop box will be processed on Tuesday Jan 7, 2025, as the library opens.
